Realistic Opportunity for BYU to Join the Big 12


It appears Texas A&M has officially accepted an invitation to join the SEC, potentially paving the way for the BYU Cougars to replace them in the Big 12. Nothing substantial to report yet but an invite to join a BCS football conference and a fantastic basketball league would be monumental for the Cougars. I just don’t see how they could turn it down.

The only topic he does not touch on that we’ve heard from other outlets: BYU officials are very concerned about turning their backs on the West Coast Conference schools after just one year, many of which are faith based institutions like BYU.

We shall see.
