College Sports Enthusiast

I started this blog in 2010 with an emphasis on the old Mountain West conference. The original focus was on BYU, Utah and the likes of Boise State and TCU and their fight for inclusion in the college football hierarchy. Things have changed of course in the past three or four years with Utah joining the Pac-12, TCU going to the Big 12, Boise State moving to the Mountain West, and BYU going independent. Though the landscape has changed a bit, both BYU and Utah are still fighting for respect among the college football elite. This blog focuses on their efforts as well as BYU and Utah basketball.

Who am I and what qualifies me to have such a site? Simply put, I’m a huge college football fan. I grew up a BYU fan in Southern California. I graduated from BYU in 2000. Since then, I lived in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area 7 years, had a stop in Las Vegas for 18 months and have now lived in Salt Lake City for 6 years. I’ve listened to a lot of different sports talk shows, read a lot of different newspapers and now enjoy providing some of my own insight and opinions. While not pretending to be a sports writer, I work full time as a real estate agent and investor along the Wasatch Front.
