Good read here from Michael Taglienti on Bleacher Report:

College Football Realignment: Is Oklahoma Eyeing the Pac-12?

From the article it appears this is mostly just posturing on the part of Oklahoma, as they are getting tired of Texas calling all the shots in the Big 12. Either way, BYU needs to take all this into consideration as they ponder a move to the Big 12. They don’t want to jump aboard a sinking ship (Oklahoma leaving). They also don’t want to jump aboard a ship ruled by a selfish dictator (Texas getting the lion’s share of the money and having their way with their network).

You can certainly understand why the schools are having to jump into this high stakes game of musical chairs. It’s just getting a little absurd though with the amount of movement. Things are changing so quickly, you wonder what does belonging to a conference even mean anymore. Will the 10-15 biggest name schools all just go independent, form their own networks and not have to split a penny of the TV money. It makes you wonder –
