Armed Forces Bowl Preview
Here’s a nice preview from AJ Mangum of Vanquish the Foe on the BYU/Tulsa match-up. It ought to be a pretty competitive game. It’s pretty much a pick em game as far as the odds go.
Armed Forces Preview: By the numbers, Tulsa should beat BYU, but…
I know a lot of Cougar fans are rather ho-hum about the match-up, and understandably so. BYU knew before the season even started they’d play in this game. The opponent is not from a BCS conference. It’s in Dallas, which is not necessarily a prime time destination. (In Dallas for the Cotton Bowl might be a different story). As well, the game kicks off at 11:00 local time.
It goes without saying, the Armed Forces Bowl isn’t exactly demanding attention from the college football world. All that aside, Cougar fans get to see their team play once more, and against a quality opponent. Enjoy the game.
